This preview stores the practice, journal entries, and projects you choose to save. It does not send your handwriting to an AI service or use it for advertising.

Your handwriting and progress

Completed strokes, practice dates, lesson history, your first name if supplied, and preferences are saved privately on our server, with a device cache to help protect unfinished saves. When you sign in with Google, Swaypen stores Google’s stable account identifier and verified email address so your writing and purchases follow your account. Swaypen does not receive your Google password. Anonymous practice uses a random identifier in a secure browser cookie, and current browser work moves into the account on first sign-in.

Paper photos

Photos are resized before upload and saved in private object storage. Each photo request checks the same identity used for your writing. Photos are not publicly accessible links. Device caches can hold copies while saving. Exporting your practice pages includes their photos, so keep that file private.

Your reflective journal

Your journal is separate from your cursive practice pages. Entry dates, titles, prompt choices, and save revisions are stored in our database. Handwritten pages and optional photos are kept in private object storage, with account or browser identity checked on every request. Journal contents are not sent to an AI service.

An unfinished entry is also saved as a draft on this device when browser storage is available. The status beside your title distinguishes a device draft from a page saved online. One draft is kept per identity on this browser. If another tab changes that draft, this tab keeps its changes in memory and indicates that they are only in this tab; save online or export them before leaving. Use a personal device for private writing; local copies are accessible to someone with access to that browser.

My pages lets you reopen, edit, export, or delete an entry. Deleting an entry removes its saved content and photo; deleting the open entry also clears its local draft in this browser. Other devices may still hold their own previously cached drafts or downloaded files. An entry can contain up to six screen pages or one paper photo. Older journal entries are paginated, not automatically replaced. Access controls are used; this is not end-to-end encryption.

Cards and letters

Saved projects contain your chosen text, stationery, and handwritten strokes. They are private to your account or anonymous browser identity. You can download your artwork and delete individual projects in My projects in the card studio. Deleting practice pages does not delete cards or reflective journal entries. Up to 50 projects can be saved.

Launch notifications

If you join the enrollment list, your email address and request date are stored for course launch news. To remove requests associated with your current account or browser, use the button below. Joining the list does not make a purchase.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe on the public site. Swaypen does not receive your card details. Confirmed course and Studio+ access are associated with your signed-in identity. Stripe webhooks update access after successful payment, refunds, and subscription changes. Payment records required for accounting may need to be retained separately by the merchant.

Your controls

You can export or restore your cursive practice archive, or delete those exercises, their photos, and preferences from Preferences. Reflective journal entries and card projects have their own deletion controls. Your latest 250 practice entries appear in the app; use export for a long-term personal archive. Anonymous saved writing does not follow you automatically when you sign in or clear cookies, so export a backup first. Essential hosting and security logs may be processed by the hosting provider.

A few boundaries

This first edition is designed for adults. It is a practice tool, not a medical assessment. Please avoid uploading documents containing someone else’s private information.
